I moved to Sequim over 40 years ago with my wife Irene. We raised the four Schmidt kids in the beautiful country settings Sequim has to offer. Kids grow, get married and move away. Irene and I moved into Sunland fifteen years ago. What a great community, we never felt the desire to move. We have everything we need right here: The beautiful Sunland Golf Course winding through the tall evergreen trees, a clubhouse with a delicious cafe and heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a community beach accessible to members of our Sunland neighborhood.
If you are considering moving to Sequim, the Sunland community is a wonderful place to be. However, there is currently a shortage of Sunland homes on the market (hint to sellers: This a great time to sell!). You can also enjoy the benefits of this fine community with a membership to the Sunland Golf & Country Club. With three specialized categories of membership to fit your lifestyle, the Club Membership Team can help you find the best fit for you. (Note: You do not need to be a property owner in Sunland to be a member of the Sunland Golf and Country Club.)
An Ideal Course for Year Round Golf
Located in Sequim’s rain shadow, Sunland enjoys more sunny days than neighboring areas. Sunland Golf & Country Club is open for public tee times on Saturdays and Sundays only. Reservations for tee times are accepted seven days in advance. Be sure to call the Pro Shop at 360-683-6800 ext 13 to reserve a cart if needed.
